Yummy's Scrap Weekend 2013 - Um Viagem de Sonhos

Hoje estou aqui para compartilhar com vocês um dos Projetos que fiz para a Quarta Edição do Evento, que foi um total sucesso, em todos os sentidos, e no exato momento que foi encerrado no domingo a noite, já deixou saudades no coração de todos. 

Explorando o tema "VIAGEM", de uma forma inusitada, cada DTY buscou um tema para abordar o assunto, levando as alunas a literalmente viajar por 2 dias incríveis.

E o meu tema escolhido foi: 

"Viajar na Cidade onde Você Mora, pois é ali que a vida real acontece"

Muitas vezes só lembramo-nos de valorizar a nossa cidade quando estamos longe dela, pois no dia-a-dia somos engolidos pela rotina, pela correria, pelas tarefas diárias e não temos olhos para a beleza que se apresenta diante de nós, e ficamos esperando viajar, para poder tirar lindas fotos e apreciar belas paisagens uma vez por ano.

Será que isso é certo? Negligenciamos a nossa cidade, o nosso lar, onde passamos a nossa vida inteira, onde a vida real acontece, e quando nos damos conta, a vida aconteceu... e não temos recordações, não fotografamos, simplesmente a vida passou enquanto ficamos esperando por aquela viagem inesquecível que só acontece às vezes a cada 2, 3 ou 5 anos!

 Busquei para mim um desafio de usar uma Marca de Papéis que nunca anteriormente eu havia trabalhado: Teresa Collins, arriscando fugir do meu estilo romântico e delicado.

 

 Adorei os tons terracota que consegui obter!

I'm really inspiring by the soft and amazing colors by Rikka's Mood board, and so I created a Mother's Day layout, using some amazing Zeus and Zoe's products.

Mother's Day Card for Zeus and Zoe

Hello girls, today we start a new week with some inspiration!

In many countries of the world, May is the month we celebrate Mother's Day.
In the United States, as well as in my country, Brazil, the date is celebrated on the second Sunday of May.

I believe this is one of the most beautiful dates, because there is no greater love than a mother's love, so if anyone deserves all the tributes, is our Mother!

Today I would to show you a simple card I did with the beautiful produtos Zeus and Zoe, to inspire you to think in a gorgeous gift for your Mother.

To innovate, I decided to use the color blue, but very gently, leaving the card very feminine.

And to sweeten, some beautiful and sweet cookies in heart shape and a beautiful cup to keep the card?

In Portuguese:
Em muitos países do mundo, Maio é o mês que se comemora o Dia das Mães.
Nos Estados Unidos, assim como no Brasil, a data é comemorada no segundo domingo de Maio.

Eu acredito que esta é uma das datas mais lindas, pois não há amor maior do que o amor de mãe, então se há alguém que merece todas as homenagens, é a nossa Mãe!

Hoje eu vim mostrar para vocês um singelo cartão que eu fiz, com os lindos produtos Zeus and Zoe, para inspirá-los a pensar num presente lindo para a sua Mãe.
Para inovar, eu decidi usar a cor azul, mas com muita delicadeza, o que deixou o Cartão bem feminino. E para adoçar, alguns biscoitos doces em formato de coração, numa caneca delicada para acompanhar o cartão.

Zeus and Zoe April Challenge

 "Life As It Is Now"

Today, I’m here to sharing with you my Project I did for Zeus and Zoe April Challenge.

 

This month we have an amazing Challenge, because it is about yourself. This is a topic very inspiring to do scrapbooking, don't you think so?
And we have one additional requirement for the challenge: incorporate the use of buttons into your creation. This is amazing, because I just LOVE buttons!

Normally I do not usually write in my layouts and projects, so I decided to hide my journaling in an envelope behind the photo. Because I believe I can show all the light and joy of my soul through the colors and textures of paints, cutouts and layers!

And so I worked my Project, with light and shadows, bright colors and vibrancy, which represent very well who I am!

I started applying a thick layer of gesso on my canvas, using a palette knife making sure to get a good coverage but not exactly aiming for a smooth finish. I like to leave scrape marks here and there for texture.

As soon as the gesso has fully dried, then I applied several coats of spray inks. Next comes the texture.  I used a palette knife and the DecoArt Stencil to apply the modeling paste. 

Note my base ready to receive and layers of papers and the amazing Zeus and Zoebuttons.

Christmas now??

LOL... It is not time yet for Christmas Layouts, but today I have a Double Christmas Layout to share with you, why I did a Christmas classe for some lovely ladies who are my frequent scrap-students.

But I must confess one thing: I love doing Christmas projects, and at any time of year!

Como eu adoro fazer Projetos de Natal, pra mim não tem problema, faço em qualquer época do ano.
